Spring is not about buying new cushions… or clothes !!
It’s about opening windows.. Real ones !!
Letting stale air leave.
And deciding what stays .. in your home and in your head..
Here’s how I’m resetting this season. Slow. Intentional. With a timer in one hand and tea in the other..

1. Early Morning Reset Routine (Before the House Wakes Up) 🌅
Spring cleaning doesn’t start with mops or towels.. It starts with mornings.
Wake up 45 minutes earlier.
Not to hustle. To breathe.
My simple reset morning:
• Open all windows or doors immediately
• Drink warm water (no drama ingredients needed or ACV if you’re in like me)
• 5 minutes stretching near sunlight or before sunrises
• 5 minutes quiet sitting (no phone) with a cup of tea
• Make bed properly .. hotel style
What this really means is… you start the day already in control. The house feels lighter. So do you.

2. The Timer Cleaning Method (Game Changer) ⏳
If you say “I’ll clean the whole house today,” you won’t.
Instead:
Set a 20-minute timer.
That’s it.
No phone.
No overthinking.
How I Divide It:
Day 1: Wardrobe edit
Day 2: Kitchen shelves
Day 3: Fridge detox
Day 4: Bathroom deep clean
Day 5: Books + papers
Day 6: Balcony / windows
Day 7: Digital clean-up (yep.. your phone too)
When timer rings : STOP.
You’ll feel accomplished, not exhausted. That’s the difference..
Spring reset is about consistency, not punishment.

3. Declutter With These 3 Questions
Hold any item and ask:
1. Do I use this?
2. Do I love this?
3. Would I buy this again today?
If the answer is no… it quietly exits.
No guilt. No “maybe one day.”
We are not running a storage museum.

4. Reset Your Body (Without Extreme Diet Drama) 🌿
Spring is not crash diet season.
It’s digestion reset season.
Especially for women nearing 40 (hello hormonal surprises 👋), your body doesn’t need punishment. It needs rhythm & discipline
Simple Body Reset:
• Eat at fixed times
• Early dinner before 7:30 pm
• 20–30 min daily walk
• Reduce packaged snacks for 2 weeks
• Add one raw element daily (cucumber, carrot, salad)
No starvation. No weird detox drinks. Just structure.

5. Easy OTG Veg Meals🍽️
You want easy. You want healthy. You want minimal oil. Let’s break it down..
1. Baked Veggie Cutlets
Boiled potato + grated carrot + peas + spices
Shape. Brush oil lightly. Bake 180°C for 20 mins.
Crispy outside. Soft inside. Tea-time approved.
2. Stuffed Bell Peppers
Fill capsicum with:
• Paneer + onion + coriander
or
• Cooked quinoa + mixed vegetables
Bake 200°C for 15–18 minutes.
Looks fancy. Effort is minimal.
3. Crispy Masala Sweet Potato Wedges
Slice. Add salt, chilli, jeera powder.
Bake till golden.
Better than fries. No guilt lecture needed.
4. Baked Vegetable Oats Casserole
Cook oats slightly. Mix with sautéed vegetables + curd + spices.
Top with little grated cheese (optional).
Bake 15 minutes.
Comfort food. But grown-up.

6. Reset Your Mind 🧠
Decluttering home is easy.
Decluttering thoughts? That’s real work.
Try this:
• Unfollow accounts that trigger comparison
• Reduce negative news consumption
• Write 3 lines every night:
• What felt peaceful today
• What I’m grateful for
• One thing I’ll improve tomorrow
No big journaling performance. Just three honest lines.

7. Soul Reset Ritual 🌸
Choose one:
• Light a candle or diya in evening silence
• Play old songs or whatever even bridgerton playlist while folding clothes
• Sit in balcony with tea without scrolling
• Call someone you genuinely miss
Spring is about warmth returning. Let it return inside you too.
8. Final Touch: Scent + Sunlight
Open curtains daily.
Sunlight is the cheapest mood booster.
Add:
• Fresh flowers
• Washed curtains
• Clean bedsheets
Your home will feel new without buying anything new.
What Spring Reset Really Means
It’s not perfection.
When your cupboards breathe… you breathe.
When your schedule is calm… your body cooperates.
When your space is lighter… your thoughts soften.
Love,
Dolly
